Chef Christian Losito
Executive Chef
Born and raised in the south of France, Chef Christian Losito grew up surrounded by a rich culinary tradition that shaped his love of food from an early age. With parents who owned a semi-gastronomic restaurant, he was immersed in the world of fine cuisine long before beginning his professional training.
After graduating from high school, Christian pursued his dream of becoming a chef and earned a scholarship to attend the Culinary School of Hotel and Restaurant Management in Nice, France, where he completed an intensive four-year program. During his final year, he traveled to Bermuda for an international apprenticeship to perfect his English, as bilingual proficiency was required for graduation.
Upon arriving in the United States, he continued refining his craft while apprenticing at his brother’s restaurant in Washington, D.C. Over the next several years, he advanced from Sous Chef to Chef de Cuisine, and ultimately served as Executive Chef and General Manager of a prestigious private dining club in Wilmington, Delaware, where he spent a decade leading fine dining operations.
Christian later accepted the role of Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager at the City Club of Macon. It was there that he and his family fell in love with Macon and the surrounding Middle Georgia community. In 1998, he became the proud owner of his first restaurant, which he successfully operated for nearly 17 years. He later opened a second restaurant, Christian’s, continuing his passion for delivering exceptional cuisine and memorable dining experiences.
A devoted family man, Christian is the proud father of three daughters and one son, and a grandfather of three grandchildren. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys hiking, spending time at the beach, and flying—having earned his pilot’s certificate before the age of 19, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
Today, Chef Christian is honored to serve the residents of John-Wesley Villas, where he brings his European training, decades of leadership experience, and deep love of hospitality to every meal. His mission is simple: to create delicious, comforting, restaurant-quality dining that makes residents feel truly at home.
