John-Wesley Villas is pleased to share that our residents and staff recently received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Residents and staff were eager to roll up their sleeves to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, developed to combat the deadly coronavirus pandemic. Beginning with assisted living residents, on January 21, 2021, CVS Pharmacy delivered the first of two doses of the vaccine developed by Pfizer. A second clinic was held on February 11 to deliver the following dose.

Independent living residents began receiving the vaccine on January 28, 2021. In partnership with Castleberry Drug Co., residents were able to receive the Moderna-developed vaccine. A second clinic for these residents was held on March 4, 2021.

We are excited to share that nearly 80% of our residents are now fully vaccinated! John-Wesley Villas is truly honored to be part of this live saving mission. We are committed to promoting the health and safety of our residents, and this vaccine is just the latest in our dedicated efforts to keep our community safe. We firmly believe that the vaccines developed will be key to ending this pandemic.
